Rezvani Beast, The Supercar Reinvented
Presented By Wingz – Scheduled Airport Rides
“Supercars are meant to be sexy, extreme and potentially dangerous. They are on Earth to help us connect with our most primeval instincts.” — Jeremy Clarkson
The Italians have made Lamborghini and Ferrari into dreams of millions of people around the world. The Americans have seen the Chevrolet Corvette as their biggest pride. And now, we can stand equally with the Italians thanks to the Rezvani BEAST, a made-in-USA supercar that can even blow any Italian mind away.
With a Rotrex supercharged, 500-horsepower engine, BEAST is able to reach 60 mph in just 2.7 seconds. A six-speed manual transmission and rear-wheel drive are standard, reinvigorating pure supercar performance with minimal electronic interference. Lots and lots of speed, this California-based supercar is a carbon-fibre body instrument of speed, using the chassis from the British lightweight techniques as a ‘significant upgrade’ to make it even stiffer than standard.
Under the direction of Rezvani Motors, award-winning automotive designer Samir Sadikhov was able to create the Beast’s stunning and aerodynamic look. It uses minimalist surfaces and low-friction body panels to allow for the ultimate performance proportions and maximum downforce at high speeds. These design techniques were introduced by Co-founder Kam Hosn at the Global Lightweight Vehicle Manufacturing conference in Detroit in 2015.
Rezvani also used advanced 3D-printing techniques to create the unique shapes of its headlight casing, tail light casing and mirrors. Let’s take a look at how this monster accelerates:
The BEAST is available for purchase starting at $165,000. It comes with Apple CarPlay, a first ever in this segment.
