Limebike Is Teaming Up With the SF Giants This Spring Training Season
The Bay Area-based smart bikeshare LimeBike supports the SF Giants through partnership and providing bikeshare services in Scottsdale at Spring Training games.
Spring training games are well on there way which means only one thing, that baseball is back! If you find yourself needing a lift to a Giants game, don’t worry because LimeBike has you covered. LimeBike, the leading U.S. smart bikeshare, is teaming up with the San Francisco Giants for the Spring Training season in Arizona to promote the Bay-Area based smart mobility solution as the Giants’ official Bikeshare Partner of 2018 Spring Training.
Scottsdale Stadium is the Spring Training home of the Giants, and Arizona is one of LimeBike’s top markets. Be sure to look out for Limbike bike stations during home games. They will station bikes at the stadium to provide fans with a reliable, sustainable and affordable transportation option.
“This is an exciting opportunity for LimeBike to support our home team in a community we already work so closely with,” said Caen Contee, LimeBike VP of Marketing and Partnerships. “We hope this is just the beginning of an awesome partnership with the Giants, and we’re excited to be able to provide our services to the many Phoenix-area residents and visitors who will watch the games.”
Scottsdale! SF Giants Fans! Celebrate your team, and Spring Training by using the code “LIMEGIANTS” for $3 in ride credits. The Giants Spring Training games began this week in Scottsdale and end on March 23. Many lucky fans will also be able to receive co-branded LimeBike and SF Giants gear.
“The Giants are excited to partner with LimeBike to offer our fans in Scottsdale this great transportation option for getting to and from the park,” said Jason Pearl, Giants Senior Vice President of Partnerships and Business Development.
LimeBike is currently available in 50 markets, making it the fastest-growing smart bikeshare in the U.S. All bikes are GPS and 3G-enabled, making it simple for riders to find, unlock and pick up a nearby bike using their smartphone. When the ride is completed, riders simply lock the bike’s back wheel and responsibly park between the pedestrian-designated sidewalk and the street curb, or at a bike rack.
