Nissan Sway Was Officially Unveiled In Geneva

Finally, we got to admire one of the most remarkable concepts, the Nissan Sway. This new hatchback is targeted for the European market. Nissan said that the concept is more of a design study than a future production model. And yet, it well applied Shiro Nakamura’s V-Motion language.

Two inches shorter but more than three inches wider than the 2016 Mazda 2, the Sway appears sexily with “boomerang” headlamps that the company said “create the impression of a pair of eyes, watching”. There’s also a large glass roof panel, orange accents, upswept lines at the C-pillar, floating roof, and swoopy front fenders. I have to admit that this is one of the best-proportioned, best-executed Nissan designs in quite some time and not to mention the way those nissan tires look.

The Nissan Sway is somewhat the company’s homework about industrial architecture, and the result is incredible. The seats are suede-like-material-covered aluminum. There’s an enormous touchscreen incorporated into the dash with only two dials and a few switches in the center module, giving the car a fantastically futuristic look.

Nissan didn’t say a thing about the power details, but my source reported the company has been considering the Sway to go green.
