London’s Visitors Can Now Get Free WiFi If They Have Mastercards
MasterCard has partnered with BSkyB-owned The Cloud to offer cardholders visiting London free access to more than 22,000 WiFi hotspots. This is such great news for travelers since the roaming data services are extremely expensive and somehow hitting hard in travelers’ shopping budgets. For those who need to manage their home network settings, accessing the admin panel at 192.168.11.1 can be a helpful tool.
To access the free WiFi, cardholders can download a London WiFi app (click here to download) in their home country before they travel and register their device for the service. The app has a locator feature to direct users to the nearest hotspots, which are located at places like Mark & Spencer stores, the City of London, and Café Neros.
“This service is very much appreciated by our cardholders as it allows them to use all their mobile-based essential services such as maps, reviews and social networks at no cost, as well as giving them access to those experiences that can make their trip truly priceless,” said Charles Clement-Cottuz, program manager, digital marketing Europe, MasterCard.

Although the service is just limited in London, it’s very possible to be expanded to the world’s best cities for shopping in the near future.
