This Car Has The Fastest Single Clutch Transmission In The World
Pure Power and Style — the high performance hypercar from Denmark.
Unveiled at the 2009 24-hour Le Mans “Drivers parade”, the prototype of the Zenvo ST1 supercar is nominated for “Supercar of the Year”. It’s introduction causes a great stir in the supercar industry. In record time, an unknown Danish car manufacturer has achieved what others have spent a decade creating: a hyper car with cutting-edge styling and staggering performance capable of flooring the competition.
And at the Geneva Motor Show 2015, the company unveiled the refined version of its Zenvo ST1, a supercar that is capable of producing 1104 bhp at 6900 rpm and 1430 Nm of torque at 4500 rpm thanks to the 6.8-litre V8 turbocharged and supercharged engine. It accelerates from 0-62 MPH in just 3 seconds, and features its new CIMA-developed gearbox that is able to shift in 35 milliseconds, making it the fastest single clutch transmission in the world, the best part of it? you can always get a clutch repair if it ever gets damaged.
The Zenvo ST1 — the name means whatever you want to mean — is designed to express the car’s excessive power and performance. Mixing supercar styling and racing car elements, it’s the beautiful work of a small team of car industry professionals who have worked hard for a mutual dream: a hypercar that has a truly unique design.
Inside of the supercar, the color of the leather and Alcantara as well as the finish of aluminium and carbon fiber trim are somewhat that could only find on an Aston Martin, Bentley, and Bugatti Veyron. Smooth, luxurious, and yet aggressive! The seats are terrific; the driving position and packaging are amazingly good. They are the results of excellent craftsmanship, cutting-edge technology and high-tech materials going hand-in-hand.
The car is offered through Red Sea Distribution, and the first three coming over are a special ST1 50S version complete with 1,250 hp and 1,106 lb-ft of torque. However, pricing on the ST1 is north of $1 million.
