Samsung is well-known as one of Apple’s biggest competitors in terms of making smartphones, but the company has also shown that they can also be good at other industries, such as automobile.

The company has come up with a great way to help drivers bypass a truck on freeway a little bit safer. A small camera on the front broadcasts a live feed of the road to the giant TV screens on the back so that drivers can see the road ahead before trying to pass. There’s even a night-vision mode for night-time driving. This incredible idea will help prevent one person from dying in traffic every hour in the U.S.

The truck’s prototype has already been tested in Argentina. Samsung confirms they are working together with local governments to figure out how to optimize this system for live road use.
