Fully Functional Tron Light Cycle To Be Sold At Auction
Some rich fan could own this bike.
If you ever wanted to pretend you lived inside of a video game, now is your chance if you happen to have $40,000 lying around. A working lightcycle replica from 2010′s Tron reboot will be auctioned by Sotheby’s this May in Texas. The bespoke motorcycle was created for The Andrews Car Collection, who is now looking to unload the bike among a few other automobiles to free up resources for other vehicles.
The motorbike is in new condition and runs on a 96-volt direct-drive electric motor with lithium batteries. Other features include a computer-controlled throttle, rebound and compression damping with spring preload front suspension and rigid rear suspension, and front and rear hydraulic brakes.
So if you’ve got a little extra cash to burn, you might want to get in on the auction action.
