Meet The BMW Apollo Streamline Bike

When I was a kid, my mom once told me: “You can be a very good lawyer in the future.†Lawyer? Sounds good to me, a little yet very logical and rational girl. A few months later, I decided to become a stockbroker after watched movies about the stock market. This feeling hasn’t totally gone away as I currently use iweb share dealing to invest in shares but that’s only to make some side income. Since junior high, I affirmed to myself that I will become a copywriter.

But today, when I saw this bike concept, I passionately want to become an industrial designer.

Designed to test its legs for the Salt Lake speed record, the BMW Apollo Streamliner bike’s unorthodox shape is ideal for deflecting high speed wind away from the rider while in a standard tucked position. Handsomely decked out in BMW’s signature silver steel and leather, it’s flashy enough to get attention from everyone. The bike is the work of a talented Turkish designer named Mehmet Doruk Erdem.
