London’s Visitors Can Now Get Free WiFi If They Have Mastercards

MasterCard has partnered with BSkyB-owned The Cloud to offer cardholders visiting London free access to more than 22,000 WiFi hotspots. This is such great news for travelers since the roaming data services are extremely expensive and somehow hitting hard in travelers’ shopping budgets.

To access the free WiFi, cardholders can download a London WiFi app (click here to download) in their home country before they travel and register their device for the service. The app has a locator feature to direct users to the nearest hotspots, which are located at places like Mark & Spencer stores, the City of London, and Café Neros.

Although the service is just limited in London, it’s very possible to be expanded to the world’s best cities for shopping in the near future.
