Lamborghini And Pirelli Combine For Special-Edition Aventador

A possible new Lamborghini Aventador SV has been caught cruising along an Italian highway. The latest sighting definitely caught people by surprise as it has not been spotted since back in April 2013.

This time, the alleged Aventador SV mule features a wild Super Trofeo-style rear diffuser that is unlike anything ever installed on a standard Lamborghini Aventador. What’s more, a restyled quad exhaust setup further separates this matte black mule from the ordinary Lambo.

The Lamborghini Aventador has been released as a tribute to the Italian carmaker’s relationship with high-performance tire manufacturer Pirelli, dating all the way back to 1963. The Pirelli Edition features two unique two-tone color schemes — between a matte black and gloss black roof against a white body — with red hits throughout the bodywork. Available in both coupe and roadster versions, this work of automotive art will begin delivery in the summer of 2015.
