CES 2015| Think Twice Before You Want To Buy A GoPro Since This Camera Is Much Cooler

There are moments that will never happen twice in your life. Catch them, hold them still!

As if the moment ever happened when you were in action, nothing is as great as a GoPro, right? I’m not sure about that, because I just found out there is a very cool action camera that was just presented at CES 2015, called SnapCam.

Architectured in a 1.5-inch square design, the 8-megapixel camera is able to be clipped onto your body or stuck to your gear with a magnetic strip. It’s not just capable of capturing both still photos and video at 720p and 30fps, what really sets this piece apart is its streaming functionality via its real-time Wi-Fi or Bluetooth connectivity, allowing you to control/view/share the videos and pictures onto other smartphones.

SnapCam is a stunning and colorful device without any button at all. While a swipe on the body will help to kick it on, a single tap will capture photo, a double-tap will capture video, and a triple-tap will replay the videos. At full charge, it’s ready to snap up to 5,000 photos or 2 hours of video. Or if you’re waiting for the right moment, you can leave the device in standby for up to a week.

The SnapCam is expected to ship in the second quarter of 2015 in gunmetal gray, black or white for about $150. A version without wireless — SnapCam Lite — will also be available for around $80. For details about pre-ordering, click here to visit the company’s website.
